It began with my good friend Lisa Ganci and I talking about creating a cool edgy coming of age experience for our preteen girls. After some research, much laughter and some brainstorming we called Ann Hackler of the IMA with our ideas... Ann suggested And the Kids would be great for the musical component, IMA could host ...and the rest is now herstory!
The Rock the Moon A-Team (staff and teaching crew)
(Lisa Ganci, Ann Hackler, myself Tony(a) Lemos, Megan Miller, Hannah Mohan, Casey Opal and Rebecca Lasaponaro)
A totally fun, creative and empowering weekend gathering for pre-teen girls ages 9-12 where we blend, herbalism, self-care, connecting to the Earth with Rock and Roll (music and songwriting) giving the girls skills that help them navigate these potentially trickey years! with confidence.
