“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence.
It is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
Audre Lorde
October 2nd 2017: On days like these self care is most important. We need us all for the long haul. There is huge collective grief that we are processing; it is important that we unplug for a while and take a walk outside, notice/touch a plant, give yourself a plant limpia, turn to your plant allies, breath in unison with the Earth, notice your surroundings, give gratitude for your blessings, consciously prepare/eat nourishing food, hug a friend, kindly look into the eyes of another human being, sit in circle, form community, be extra kind to yourself and others. Remember we are in this together! No-one needs to suffer alone. Reach out! Love one another.
In response to last nights tragedy in Las Vegas as well as the millions of people around the country suffering (physically, mentally and spiritually) in response to the unprecedented number of climate change related natural disasters we have been experiencing, and all the people effected by the heartless leadership we are witnessing I have decided to begin another round of the self care revolution which first ran last December. Please spread the word far and wide #selfcaretogether33 #selfcare #loveoneanother
